Children grades K-5th are given an environment to grow in their faith, learn about community, build skills, serve and have fun together on Sunday mornings. They start in the sanctuary at 10, and around 10:15am they come forward for prayers and are then dismissed to their kids' area for a Bible story and a project- with a different focus each Sunday.
Bible Art-1st Sunday
With a certified elementary school art teacher the kids do painting, crafts, projects, and art appreciation around a Bible story, a scripture, a season, or a holiday. The children are asked to wear comfy play clothes for art work.
Bible Project-2nd Sunday
In this fun and active class, the children have a Bible lesson then make a project, play a game, or do a recreational activity together. They learn team work and play fairness to their story.
Bible Snack Craft-3rd Sunday
Taught by a culinary school graduate, the kids have a Bible lesson and a make a fun, healthy, edible snack craft related to the story while learning cooking techniques and then serve their snack crafts at our snack fellowship following service.
Hurra! Bible Spanish-4th Sunday
Led by a language major in French, Spanish and Hindi, the kids have a Bible lesson and then learn some Spanish names for God, Jesus, praise, worship, and much more-in fun, humorous and interesting ways! A healthy Hispanic snack will be discussed and shared!
There are other opportunities throughout the year for the children to serve in outreach and have fun age appropriate activities- such as a week long Vacation Bible School in the summer.
